We're back!

What an awesome trip with AWESOME people.  I hope everyone has been able to get some rest today - keep sending pics and I'll post them here and on our FB page.

Updated Arrival Times

Hello All!

Flight 1594 from DC will be on time arriving into Boston at 11:50pm. The students and chaperones will get on buses for ABRHS after they pick up their luggage - approximate arrival at AB 1:00am.

Flight 386 from Houston has been delayed and their approximate arrival time at Logan is now 1:30am. I (Ms. Moss) will be waiting for their arrival at Logan and we will get back to ABRHS as soon as we have gathered everything.  Stay tuned for updated times.

USS Midway, Zoo, and Mexican Farewell dinner

This morning's concert was an incredible experience.  We performed on the flight deck of the USS Midway, and the history of the vessel was inspiring.  We had some time to explore the ship and see where these brave crewmen lived and worked too.  Afterwards, we headed over to the San Diego Zoo for the afternoon and were overcome with the cuteness (well, maybe not at the warthog exhibit).  Pandas, leopards, orangutans, polar bears, you name it, we saw it.

We then ended the day in Old Town with some shopping and our farewell dinner at a delicious outdoor Mexican restaurant.  After a few quick games of bowling to work off the tacos, we headed back to the hotel to pack and get ready to fly home.  We have had an amazing time here and we can't wait to hug our families in just a few hours.

Padres, Seals, and Birthdays!

Such an awesome day!  We started out with some great performances before the Padres game followed by singing the National Anthem spread throughout the stadium.  We enjoyed our all you can eat concessions while hanging out and occasionally watching the baseball game.  (The Padres were sweet, but not so good at baseball).  We had plenty of dancing and singing in the stands with each other - pics to come.

We then headed to La Jolla beach where we took in the absolutely breathtaking view of the ocean and cliffs and walked down to gawk at all the seals sunbathing on the beach.  Dozens of seals flopping around, napping, fighting with seagulls, being cute. SO MUCH CUTENESS.

We then returned to our hotel for dinner followed by a special show by our very own Chuckle Sandwich!  We concluded the evening with some birthday cake celebrating the FIVE chorus birthdays occurring while we're in Cali - happy bday to Patrick, Matt R, Hannah B, Hannah S, and Hemma!
